The Economic Impacts of COVID-19 on Hawaii

Join our distinguished panel to discuss the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on Hawaii’s economy.

Topics include the impacts of COVID-19 on Hawaii’s economy, including a discussion of federal and state government actions to mitigate its impact; state revenue collections and effect on tax collections; tourism; and investment, including effects on both the physical capital formation necessary for continued economic activity and human capital formation initiatives, such as early childhood development and workplace skills acquisition initiatives. Possible pathways for recovery will also be discussed.
