AlohaSafe – New Tools to Keep Hawaii Safe and Healthy

Learn about new COVID-19 prevention tools available through AlohaSafe, a public/private partnership created in collaboration with the Hawaii State Department of Health to roll out a series of digital tools to keep Hawaii healthy and safe.
AlohaSafe Story is a free smartphone application that utilizes GPS technology to privately and securely log your location – serving as a memory aid to help contact tracers get an accurate location history from patients that have been confirmed positive.
AlohaSafe Alert, the state’s official digital contact tracing application based on Google and Apple’s Exposure Notification (GAEN) protocol, anonymously notifies users when they may have been exposed to COVID-19.
AlohaSafe Wellness Tracker is a workplace screening tool, provided at no cost to Hawaii businesses, courtesy of the Altres Foundation.
