And Justice For All: LGBT Civil Rights Updated for Hawaii

Central Union Church of Honolulu

AND JUSTICE FOR ALL LGBT CIVIL RIGHTS UPDATED FOR HAWAII

An important legal seminar for challenging times! WHAT: While the U.S. Supreme Court’s decisions in Obergefell and Windsor upheld equal marriage rights, the full spectrum of equal legal rights for LGBT people continues to be a hotly contested subject. Many forces are seeking to roll back, withdraw, or otherwise restrict full equal rights at federal, state, and local levels by using various tactics within the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government. This free seminar features a panel of law and history experts who will explore the current and possible future status of full equal rights for LGBT people in the United States in light of recent legal and public policy developments. This is an educational seminar and not a political rally. More details, a list of topics to be covered, and easy registration for this event are available at: https://andjusticeforall.eventbrite.com/
